Mehmet Aladag was born in 1992 Eregli, Konya. He completed his primary, secondary, and high school in Eregli. In 2012, he graduated with an honorary degree in Machine, Design, and Construction associated degree at Mehmet Akif Ersoy University. After working in the industry until 2014, he started his undergraduate education in mechanical engineering at Gaziantep University. He completed his bachelor's degree at Gaziantep University, Mechanical Engineering, in 2018. His graduation project is about Large-Scale Additive Manufacturing System Design. In addition, he did his long-term internship at Tricom Group Limited Company in Hong Kong.

In July 2018, he started his Master's Degree at Gaziantep University and, got the project assistant position. The subject of the MSci thesis was “Design and Manufacturing of Asymmetric Spur Gear Forging Die” and, it was fully funded by TUBITAK. Meanwhile, he began his academic career by teaching part-time at Gaziantep University, Naci Topcuoglu Vocational School. In August 2020, after obtaining a Master's Degree, he started a project which was fully funded by TUBITAK. He continued on Non-Planar Hybrid Large Scale Additive manufacturing concomitantly.

In October 2021, started a long-term Ph.D. internship at the Bialystok University of Technology. Afterward, In September 2022, he started his doctorate degree at the Bialystok University of Technology, Poland. His doctoral research topic is "Surface coating and microstructuring for compound functionalized biomaterials in dentistry (SMILE)" covered by which project fully funded by the European Horizon project.

His main work is multi-material elements, high porosity materials, additive manufacturing, precision forging, and finite element analysis. In addition, he is experienced in robotic automation, engineering software development, and digital image processing techniques.
